TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Art Right Association is a government-incorporated organization dedicated to the welfare, recognition, and protection of artists across India. By registering for an Artist Card, you formally agree to the following professional standards and legal framework:

1. Industry Gateway & Union Status

The Artist Card acts as a professional identity and a mandatory gateway for the film and entertainment industry (Mumbai, Chennai, etc.). We operate under the Trade Union Act, ensuring that members are recognized as verified industry professionals for Movies, TV, OTT, and Advertisements.

2. Safeguarding Professional Rights

The association is committed to protecting member rights regarding:
  • Fair Payment: Legal support in cases where payment is denied, reduced, or delayed.
  • Work Policies: Defined working hours and proper treatment on sets.
  • Dispute Assistance: Official action and mediation if a producer or coordinator stops communication or breaches a commitment.

Artist Responsibilities & Conduct

Maintain strict punctuality and discipline on set.
Keep contact and address details updated.
Inform the association about unsafe working conditions.
Retain written proof of commitments from producers.
Follow ethical and professional behavior standards.
Regularly maintain membership documentation.

3. Priority Access & Growth

Registered members receive priority access to casting requirements and invitations to professional workshops, networking programs, and industry events. This card serves as a catalyst for long-term career growth for both Junior and Senior artists.

4. Verification of Documents

Issuance of the card is subject to the verification of Aadhar/PAN and photographs. The association reserves the right to terminate membership without notice if documents are found to be fraudulent or if the member violates the Companies Act, 2013 guidelines under which we are incorporated.
